Taikyoku The Taikyoku Empire is a glorious utopia of peace and equality for all peoples. Her Imperial Majesty graciously provides for all her children, and brings progress, health, and safety to the farthest reaches of the continent. You will want to be in Taikyoku if you are a bureaucrat, a scholar, very rich, or looking to be either. Hokkan Hokkan is the northern-most state of the Taikyoku Empire: a mercenary state run by a military caste, disguised as a frozen wasteland. You will want to be in Hokkan if you have a military talent, are some flavor of survivalist hunter, or are looking to procure the services of either. Kutou Three hundred years ago, the eastern nation of Kutou was razed in the Great War of Southern Aggression. There are still ruins in the wet, rocky lands of the eastern state; in an effort to keep their identity after the war, they turned toward more religious and scholarly pursuits. Now that Seiryuu-worship is outlawed, there is little left but precious gem mines. You will want to be in Kutou if you are a staunch traditionalist, still clinging to devout worship, a historian, or a mining entrepreneur. You will want to be in Konan if you are a farmer, good with plants, rurally-temperamented, or a trader looking to take advantage of the former.
